"Valen Werner '20 was a Computer Science major. He was part of the LGBTQ+ student organization Within and a former student mentor with the Office of Pluralism and Leadership. A familiar face in special collections, Val worked as Rauner Library's Magnetic Media Project Coordinator for about two years and as the 2021-2022 Edward Connery Lathem '51 Special Collections Fellow.
