Description is exactly ""Eight students of Dartmouth College, ranging from freshmen to juniors, discuss their views on the Freshman Exclusion Policy, which states that Freshmen are not allowed in fraternities until the end of the Freshman fall term. Reasons for being in favor of the policy include stronger Freshman unity, easier adjustment for freshmen, and decreased dependance on alcohol and fraternities. Those that oppose the policy cite it as discriminatory and an insult to adult sensibilities among other things. Other issues addressed are the social alternatives to fraternities as well as the need for the administration and Dartmouth community to get together once again to seriously discuss the objectives of the policy. Recorded by Professor Frank Smallwood and Instructional Services, Dartmouth College.""
