Freedman Presidential Scholars program. He is currently writing an honors thesis on depictions of the Occupation in post-war French literature and film. While an Historical Accountability Student Research Fellow, Matt researched Dartmouth’s “Jewish quota,” scrutinizing its particulars, issuance, and evolution at the College, historically situating its use in a Dartmouth context, and tracing positions taken on the quota by Dartmouth officials such as President Ernest M.
