Fred Rogers ’50, who attended Dartmouth from 1946-1948 and is known for hosting the TV series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, requests that he no longer receive mail from the College. He returned to Hanover to deliver the commencement address in 2002.

The Pilobolus dance company was formed at Dartmouth in 1971 out of a beginner modern dance class project and went on to international recognition. They continue to tour and teach, including as visiting artists at the College.

The Dartmouth is a student-run daily newspaper that traces its history to 1799. This miniature edition was produced for the holidays in 1949.
